Our next edition of Craft Club is all about the Art of the Edit.
Join us in Vancouver on Tuesday, September 29 for Craft Club, hosted by Rethink Vancouver! This edition of Craft Club is all about The Art of the Edit, featuring a panel of post-production experts: Matthew Griffiths (Cycle Media), Danielle Haythorne (Gladys the Agency), Ignacio Florez Zelaya (Rethink), Matt Swanson (Epoch USA and Suplex Canada), and moderated by Don Shelford (Rethink). The famous saying in filmmaking is that a movie is made three times: Once in the writing, once in the shooting, and once in the editing. Come learn how to set yourself up for The Best Edit that will lead to smoother post-production and better crafted work from the perspective of seasoned CDs, editors, and post-production. This is a must for all creatives! What is the best way to set yourself up for the best edit? What’s helpful, and what’s not. Should you ever bring a client to the edit room? How is social media affecting the style of editorial style? What you should NEVER try to “fix it in the edit”. Hear their insights on these questions and more. Craft Club is an event series for the creative community focused on the craft behind our work.
