Making Chutney: An introduction to the first issue of Chutney Magazine, a publication of stories of culture and identity, told by marginalised and misrepresented voices. ‘Making Chutney’ expands on the magazine’s inception, how it was compiled and offers a walkthrough of the stories within.

Osman Bari
Osman Bari is a self-taught graphic designer and writer. As a Pakistani-born immigrant and settler, he is passionate about design’s role in the creation and expression of cultural identity, particularly through language and storytelling. He holds a Bachelor of Architectural Studies from the University of Waterloo and started Chutney in 2019.
