Angus is one of the co-founders of john st., one of Canada's most successful and awarded agencies since they opened in 2001. He is now Chief Creative Officer of the 170 person agency, with offices in Toronto and Montreal (which opened in January 2015.) The agency became part of the WPP network in 2013 and since then have added almost a 100 people and more than doubled their revenue. john st. has a client list of some of Canada's most prominent brands - including President's Choice, Home Hardware, No Frills, Boston Pizza, Kruger Products, Tangerine Bank, Winners, Sleep Country, and Shoppers Drug Mart. Their work has been awarded at every major show in the world including the One Show, the Webby's, Cannes, and D&AD. And their parody films of the industry like ExFEARiential, Buyral, Jane St. and Catvertising, have accumulated over 10,000,000 views online, and reinvented the art of agency self-promotion. A talented mentor, the young people he's hired are leading many of Canada's top agencies, or working at many of the best agencies around the world including W+K, GS&P, TBWA, AKQA, 180, and the Martin Agency.
