Lifelong Crush Partner, CCO

Christina Yu is a Cannes Lion-winning creative, film director and Partner & Chief Creative Officer at Lifelong Crush, known for building ideas that capture attention, spark conversation, and turn brands into consumer crushes. At Lifelong Crush, Christina is helping build one of Canada’s fastest-rising creative agencies. The work has earned Effie Awards for effectiveness and back-to-back podium finishes as one of Strategy’s Small Agencies of the Year. Earlier in her career, Christina created breakthrough work for brands including Flow 93.5, Pepsi and FedEx before launching Capital One in Canada with the disruptive “Hand in My Pocket” campaign, achieving a 93% recall rate. Since then, her work has spanned blue-chip brands including Stella Artois, Audi, Johnson & Johnson, Virgin and Kruger. She has also helped shape some of the industry’s most admired creative cultures, including leadership roles at Rethink Canada and co-founding Red Urban within the DDB network. Christina mentors the next generation of creative talent as a frequent industry speaker and visiting professor at OCAD University. At home, she’s happily outperformed by her twin sons in soccer, Roblox and fishing on the Bay of Quinte.
