Mary joined BBDO in 2016, but before that she started her career as an art director in New York, at Walrus and later KBS. And even before that, she chose her career…in 5th grade. Yep, she’s one of those people. Twelve laser-focused years later, she was crafting ideas for all kinds of brands, from Emergen-C to BMW to The Ad Council to Vanguard. Through it all Mary has developed a knack for switching gears and finding a fresh angle, and that’s still her favorite thing about the job. As a creative, Mary’s work has been recognized by Cannes Lions, The One Club, D&AD, the Clios, Effies, and Ad Age. And as the mom of 2-year-old Arlo, who will be taller than her any minute, she typed this with one hand.
